Yes. This is the Venom we like, we love and we want. We are finally getting this 2018 run for digital download in this pandemic times.
Written by David Michelinie and Donny Cates, and drawn by Ryan Stegman, Rom Lim and Mark Bagley, this is a Venom that doesn’t care about your feelings! Sarcastic and violent and beautifully drawn.
More than an anti-hero, Venom is transforming into a likable villain, and he is doing it so fun to watch. His powers are growing and he is loving it!
The art is greedy and weirdly beautiful, plus a swift and punchful writing make this series and this particular number is a great Venom run.
And yes. That’s Venom with a sword!
